*Aaj ki pyari hadees !*

Muhammad Sallallahu álayhi wa sallam ne farmaya !
Tum jaante ho geebat kya hai ? logo ne kaha ki Allah aur uske Rasool Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam hi khub jaante hain, Aap Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam ne farmaya Geebat ye hai ki tum apne bhai ka zikr is tarah karo ki (agar wo samne hota to) usko bura lage, logo ne kaha ki Ya Rasool-Allah Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam agar hamare bhai mein wo aib (kamzori) maujuud ho to, Aap Sallallahu Alaihi wasallam ne farmaya (aib maujuud ho ) wohi to geebat hai, Agar usmein wo maujuud na ho to wo bhotaan (jhuut) hai.
English
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying :
Do you know what is backbiting? They (the Companions) said: Allah and His Messenger know best. Thereupon he (the Holy Prophet) said: Backbiting implies your talking about your brother in a manner which he does not like. It was said to him: What is your opinion about this that if I actually find (that failing) in my brother which I made a mention of? He said: If (that failing) is actually found (in him) what you assert, you in fact backbited him, and if that is not in him it is a slander.
