Ten Natural Human State (Fitrah)
عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَشَرَةٌ مِنَ الْفِطْرَةِ قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ وَقَصُّ الأَظْفَارِ وَغَسْلُ الْبَرَاجِمِ وَإِعْفَاءُ اللِّحْيَةِ وَالسِّوَاكُ وَالاِسْتِنْشَاقُ وَنَتْفُ الإِبْطِ وَحَلْقُ الْعَانَةِ وَانْتِقَاصُ الْمَاءِ. قَالَ مُصْعَبٌ وَنَسِيتُ الْعَاشِرَةَ إِلاَّ أَنْ تَكُونَ الْمَضْمَضَةَ
It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Ten things are part of the Fitrah: (1) Trimming the mustache, (2) trimming the nails, (3) washing the joints, (4) letting the beard grow, (5) using the Siwak, (6) rinsing the nose, (7) plucking the armpit hairs, (8) shaving the pubes, and (9) washing with water (after relieving oneself).” Mus'ab bin Shaibah said: “I have forgotten the tenth, unless it was rinsing the mouth.”
عائشہ صدیقہ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا دس باتیں پیدائشی سنتیں ہیں (1) مونچھوں کا کترنا (2) ناخن کاٹنا (3) (انگلیوں کے) پوروں اور (جسم کے) جوڑوں کا دھونا (4) ڈاڑھی چھوڑنا (5) مسواک کرنا (6) ناک میں پانی ڈالنا (7) بغل کے بال اکھاڑنا (8) ناف کے نیچے کے بال مونڈنا (9) پیشاب کے بعد استنجاء کرنا۔ حضرت مصعب نے نقل فرمایا کہ میں دسویں بات بھول گیا مجھے شک ہے کہ وہ کلی کرنا ہے۔
