Question: What is the ruling on using fire crackers and fireworks during the Eid and other days?
Shaykh Abdul Muhsin: There is no doubt that there is harm in this upon the children who use them.
It is also harmful upon the people by alarming them and preventing them from relaxing.
They are not able to rest during their sleep and rest periods due to these disturbing noises. In reality it is evil. It is not befitting to use them.
